Thanks to Sara, an Independent Scentsy Consultant and USMC Milwifepreneur, I was able to try out a couple of items on the new Layers line by Scentsy.
The Layers line allows you to take your personal scents with you, throughout the day. They offer a variety of delicious scents in body butter, shower gel or cream, lotion, body spray, solid perfume, hand cream, and even washer whiffs and dryer disks to use in your laundry. I picked out two products to try, and I couldn’t be happier with them!
Quiver Body Lotion (“Innocent vanilla flower, warm sandalwood, and sultry night-blooming tuberose in a seductive scent, meant to cause a shiver of delight.”) is fabulous!! The lotion is creamy, leaving my skin soft and smelling just as wonderful as it’s description, without the greasiness that lotions sometimes leave behind. The smell lasts a very long time, yet is gentle and not too overpowering. This lotion is now part of my morning routine, and I apply it to my hands and arms after washing my face and brushing my teeth.
Love Story Solid Perfume (“Innocent pink jasmine and sensual amber embraced by luscious dark chocolate.”) is so YUM!!! The scent is as delicious as it reads. This is now a favorite of mine and I’ll definitely be reordering…umm… well who knows when because this is a long lasting product. Jasmine and amber are both favorite scents of mine, so to add in dark chocolate could only complete a perfect trifecta in my mind. I’m completely in love with love story, as is my very approving husband.
Eventually I’ll go through the entire Layers line. I’m especially excited to try the Dryer Disks. I thinking laying down at night and having my sheets smelling of Quiver would be absolutely heavenly, and sure to give me the sweetest of dreams.

I am a special education teacher. I, like many others, paid for college on my own. I know how hard it can be to pay for a college education and I know that many people do not realize all of the resources available to them! We had more people apply for the scholarship this past year than we have in recent years, but I want to get the word out to people that it is available!
