I’ve never had sexy abs. I’ve never seen that six pack rippley-look through my middle. The only rippley look you see going across my tummy is the ripple of 2 year old stretch marks accompanying twin-preggy stretched skin. Give you a pretty image? I wish I were bold enough show you what exactly that looks like, but I’m not and I don’t really want to scare off my readers.
I don’t need the ripple, though, or that totally sculpted look across my midsection. All I’m really looking for is a flatter, firmer, and more toned tummy. A stronger inner core.
Cat Deeley, from So You Think You Can Dance, has great abs! They’re firm, but not so rock hard you look at them and immediately turn away because you know you can never have them. She has very real, very obtainable abs. Well, IMO. Let’s hope I’m right! I’m going to be adding these ab toning moves to my daily at-home workout routine. According to Cat’s trainer, Joshua Lipsey, you can do any combo of these moves daily so long as you make it a full 5 minutes worth of an ab workout. Or, you can do the whole set.
I’ve never stuck with an ab routine, and am excited to see how long it will take me to firm up my 30′ish year old abs.
