Please give a warm welcome to G.P., owner of Future Jarheads, who shares with us today information about his site and how he helps mentor future and young Marines:
Hello. I am a Marine Corps veteran who today mentors future Marines and young Marines. I have been doing this for over six years now. I am the creator and founder of Future Jarheads which today consists of a website, a Facebook page, a You Tube Page, a Motivating Blog, an ‘Army or Marines’ website, and a fitness blog. I recently decided to dedicate the rest of my life to this cause, and as long as I am willing and able, I will continue to educate and to motivate future warriors.
Through these sites I do what comes naturally to me, and this is to offer Hope and Inspiration to those who strive to one day serve in the Corps. I accomplish this by telling them what they need to hear and not what they may want to hear. I have been blessed with the unique ability to relate well to others, and when added with my personality, you end up with someone who has a true deep passion to help others at all costs.
Future Jarheads is funded through donations from generous supporters/sponsors such as Semper Fi Momma and by several others. Recently we began to sell Future Jarheads stickers to support our cause during our time of need. With any profits made, and donations received, Future Jarheads pays for its site’s fees, sends packages to deployed Marines, we give away prizes such as K-Bars, USMC dvd’s, shirts, stickers, and other items to our fans for winning contests, or just for being fans. Future Jarheads also writes to any recruit who wishes to maintain contact while in boot camp and or when deployed. Basically if the funds are present, there is nothing that we wont do to support those who truly need it.
I have learned in life that it is impossible to change the world as a whole, but it is very possible to change people’s outlook on life. I have seen many people change over the six years and it is a wonderful site when people understand and accept what we preach. Make no mistake about it, we are here to help out a fellow man first, and them wanting to be in the Marines is just a bonus for us.
I thank you and I leave you with my favorite personal quote:
“The world does not owe me because I served in the Marine Corps. And being a Marine grants me no special privileges or respect. It is my character which defines who I am and who earns the respect I receive each day.”

Thanks for the link on Facebook or I would have had some trouble finding you guys!
